IFOS oversaw the data collection to assess the reading program “I can read” in 446 rural and urban schools in the departments of Grand’Anse, Nippes, North and North West. To do so IFOS had a team made of a team leader, 12 trainers, 1 monitoring and evaluation specialist, 1 statistician, 1 financial manager, 4 regional coordinators, 6 logistics and administrative assistants, and 224 supervisors and surveyors. Their role was to revise and adapt the tools, train the surveyors and the supervisors, synchronize the questionnaires on the electronic tools, electronic data collection, hosting and cleaning the data, conversion and transfer of data on statistical software to create the database for the sponsor.
